I’m Derick Faison, a Delaware native and business management student with a diverse background in military service, culinary arts, and customer service. Through my experiences, I’ve gained a deep understanding of leadership, ethics, and organizational dynamics, which fuels my passion for fostering inclusive and effective workplace environments. As I near the completion of my degree, I’m exploring career opportunities that combine my technical skills in electrical wiring and maintenance with my business expertise. Outside of my studies, I enjoy traveling and spending time in nature, always looking for new ways to challenge myself both professionally and personally.

 Background 

Military 

I served in the Army as a Culinary Specialist (92G) and reached the rank of Sergeant. I was responsible for maintaining food safety standards, managing kitchen operations, and keeping track of supply inventories. As a leader, I trained and supervised junior soldiers, ensuring they developed the skills and discipline needed to perform their duties effectively.

Civilian Work Experience 

I have extensive experience in hospitality, assistant management, training, inventory, and logistics.Experience in training employees, helping them develop their skills, understand company policies, and improve overall performance.
